Erasmus+ KA131 Project – Program Introduction
Erasmus+ KA131 is a sub-activity carried out under the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program for the 2021-2027 period. The program supports student and staff mobility in higher education among partner countries. The KA131 project aims to implement student learning and internship mobility activities, as well as academic and administrative staff mobility activities, through grants awarded to higher education institutions.
KA131 projects are created through calls for proposals issued annually by the European Commission and the National Agency (National Agency of Turkey) in Turkey. Universities submit their applications at the institutional level, and a specific budget is allocated to eligible higher education institutions. Mobility activities are carried out within this budget.
KA131 also supports priorities such as digitalization, inclusiveness, environmental sustainability, and active citizenship. Within this framework, universities commit to making mobility activities more inclusive and of higher quality.
Within the program’s scope, Dokuz Eylül University’s Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering has an agreement with Clausthal University of Technology / Germany.
